    CGA351 Zirconia Oxygen Analyzer

CGA351 Zirconia Oxygen Analyzer Measures from 0.1 ppm to 100 Percent
The Series 351 zirconia oxygen analyzer is suitable for monitoring and controlling any variable gas stream or atmosphere that is clean and dry. Typical uses include oxygen-enriched air feed to furnaces, combustivity index of blended fuel gases and oxygen content during heat bonding of plastics.

    Product Description:

The Series 350 zirconia oxygen analyzer measures oxygen from 0.1 ppm to 100 percent and in high-temperature reducing atmospheres, the sensor measurement indicates the amount of oxygen and moisture existing in chemical equilibrium. The instrument provides fast response—90 percent of a step change in less than one second. Additionally, measurement accuracy increases at low oxygen concentration.

This analyzer features extremely stable sensor operation. Calibration checks or adjustments are seldom required, thus ensuring many months of trouble-free operation. When calibration checks are required, a one-point calibration is sufficient for the entire measurement range from ppm to percent oxygen.

    Features & Benefits:

  • Measures oxygen from 0.1 ppm to 100 percent in gases
  • Accuracy increases at low oxygen concentrations
  • Fast response: 90 percent of step change in 1 second
  • O2X1 Two-Wire Oxygen Analyzer

    O2X1 Two-Wire Oxygen Analyzer Loop-Powered Transmitter
The O2X1 is a small, two-wire, loop-powered oxygen transmitter with an advanced galvanic fuel-cell sensor and linear output. It is certified as intrinsically safe and weatherproof to NEC and CENELEC codes.

    Product Description:

Besides the standard stainless steel version, the O2X1 is also available in two other packages:
    • The first package is a lower-cost package using Delrin for the wetted parts of the transmitter. This package has the same 1/8 in (3.175 mm) NPTF processes connections as the standard stainless steel O2X1 and is suitable for all ranges except the lowest PPM oxygen range.
    • The second package makes the Delrin design suitable for ambient air oxygen monitoring by providing a diffusion cut-out in the lower manifold to expose the sensor. This package comes with an aluminum mounting bracket for mounting the O2X1 to any convenient wall location.

    Features & Benefits:

  • Measures oxygen from 1.0 ppm to 25 percent
  • Six field-programmable ranges
  • Repeatability ± 1 percent of span
  • Self-contained cell requires no maintenance
  • 4 to 20 mA, loop powered, 9 to 28 VDC
  • TMO2-TC Gas Analyzer

TMO2-TC Gas Analyzer Wide Variety of Applications
The TMO2-TC gas analyzer provides sensitive, accurate, online analysis of composition based on the thermal conductivity of gases in a mixture. It uses two ultrastable precision thermistors: one in contact with the sample gas and one in contact with a sealed or flowing reference gas. Since it has no moving parts, the transmitter can handle shock and vibration. Its unique design makes it insensitive to contamination and sample flow rate variation.

    Product Description:

The TMO2-TC can be field calibrated or, due to its modular construction, the plug-in measuring cell can be quickly replaced with a precalibrated spare. For optimal installation, the TMO2-TC features split construction. This allows the transmitter to be located up to 1,200 feet (366 m) from the display, connected via an inexpensive, unshielded cable.

The TMO2-TC serves a wide variety of needs in many industries. Typical applications include top-gas hydrogen analysis in blast furnaces and in heat-treating ovens; monitoring hydrogen in generator cooling systems; gas purity monitoring of Ar, H2 and N2; H2 in ammonia or methanol synthesis gas; and CO2 in fermentation and other biochemical processes.

  • Gas : XMO2 Thermoparamagnetic Oxygen Transmitter

XMO2 Thermoparamagnetic Oxygen Transmitter Accurate & Reliable Long-Term Measurement
The XMO2 transmitter provides computer-enhanced, drift-free oxygen measurement in a compact, rugged, online transmitter. It can be used wherever accurate and reliable long-term oxygen measurement is critical to process and product quality. This includes inerting/blanketing liquid storage tanks, reactor feed gases, flare gas, catalyst regeneration, oxygen purity and many other applications.

    Product Description:

The XMO2 is specifically designed to overcome the limitations of conventional oxygen analyzers. It does not require analyzer shack installation in a general-purpose area, but can be field-mounted at the process measuring point. This minimizes sample conditioning requirements and ensures the best sample and the fastest possible response. Unlike other paramagnetic oxygen sensors, the XMO2 has no moving parts, making it insensitive to mounting position or vibration and providing excellent long-term reliability. The unique, dual-chamber oxygen cell design insures insensitivity to contamination and flow variations and provides a zero and span stability that makes recalibration typically only a biannual requirement.

An on-board microprocessor enables the XMO2 to provide advanced online signal detection and conditioning, real-time error detection and automatic compensation of the oxygen reading for background gas and/or pressure variations. This results in a linearity of better than 0.5 percent of span, a long-term accuracy of 1 percent of span and a stability of 0.8 percent of span per month. A proprietary fast-response software routine enhances the standard response of the thermoparamagnetic oxygen sensor, providing typical times of less than five seconds for a 63 percent response.

The user-friendly XMO2 can be programmed in the field or remotely with application-specific data via an RS232 interface and three-level, menu-driven software. When recalibration becomes necessary, it can be accomplished quickly and easily through software, with no pots to adjust. A complete line of performance-enhancing accessories make the XMO2 even easier to use. These accessories include custom-designed sampling systems and different styles of digital display packages.

The XMO2 transmitter requires 24-VDC power and provides an isolated 4- to 20-mA output signal for oxygen concentration that is programmable for zero and span. It is available in either weatherproof (NEMA 4X, IP65) or explosion-proof (NEMA 7) enclosures and in ranges from 0 to 1 percent to 0 to 100 percent, making it suitable for a wide variety of installations and applications.

    Features & Benefits:

  • Measures oxygen from 0.01 to 100 percent in gases
  • No moving parts; maintenance-free
  • Corrosion-resistant design
  • Automatic background-gas compensation
  • Use as stand-alone transmitter or in conjuction with TMO2D or XDP display packages
